Boxes, crates, roadcases, rolls of carpeting, curtains and piping in various states of being unpacked fill the aisles, while the sound of forklifts, vacuum cleaners and electric screwdrivers fill the air.

But as the afternoon advances, a different sound starts to overtake the spacious (and humongous) convention center.  As guitars, keyboards, drums and saxophones are removed from their cases, they are tuned up to be put on display.  But, once an instrument is tuned, it has to be played … at least a little … right?  So as the sound of the hustle and bustle of setting up displays starts to subside, the sound of music takes its place.

While tomorrow is the official day of the unveiling of new gear, we were able to get a peek at some intriguing new offerings shown here.  Stay tuned for daily updates as today’s hottest manufactures offer up their most exciting products to kick off the New Year.
