When American Songwriter spoke with Huntley in September, he was releasing a new single, “Tell Me When It’s Over.” He also performed another new song, “Fire and Flames,” that he had been working on. Now, he’s going to perform another new song, “Skyline Drive,” during The Voice finale on December 10.
Huntley will be appearing as a guest performer on the final episode of The Voice season 26. He shared the news on social media, nothing that this also marks a year since his monumental win in season 24. n the caption of the post, he wrote that he’ll be performing an original song, “Skyline Drive,” and also share with fans what he’s up to next.
Fans were supportive and excited to see that Huntley would be returning to The Voice. They left positive comments on the post, sharing that they’d definitely be watching him perform. The Voice finale airs on Tuesday, December 10 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
Huntley is Taking Time for Music, His Band, and His Family Following The Voice
American Songwriter spoke with Huntley this year as he was releasing a new single, and we’re excited to see that he’s still working hard on new music. “Skyline Drive” is out now, along with a music video, and Huntley has described it as his “love song to Virginia.”
On Facebook, he posted a series of teaser videos for the song. He wrote, “[Virginia’s] rolling mountains, beautiful sky, and flowing waters have always been my inspiration. After everything this past year, it felt right to pay homage to my home and remember where it all started.”
The video is an upbeat tribute to Huntley’s home state and features the incredible members of his band. There are scenes of them eating together at a local diner interspersed with moments of performing the song out in nature, putting the natural beauty of Virginia front and center.
