Where Are They Now? ‘The Voice’ Season 25 Winner Asher HaVon

Selma, Alabama native Asher HaVon won season 25 of The Voice. In doing so, he made two major firsts for the show. Most importantly, he became the first openly LGBTQ+ contestant to win the competition. Additionally, he gave new coach Reba McEntire her first win. While walking away from the show as a champion was a big step in HaVon’s journey, it was far from his last. Since his time on The Voice, he has continued to make moves toward stardom.

Many of HaVon’s performances from The Voice are still online and available for fans to watch on-demand. Last month, his rendition of Toni Braxton’s “Unbreak My Heart” hit one million views. He celebrated the milestone on social media. “Your support means the world to me! Let’s keep shining together,” he wrote in the post, thanking his fans for giving him another major milestone. Collecting views and captivating fans on the internet is only the tip of the iceberg, though.

Asher HaVon Delivers a Gold Medal-Worthy Performance

In June, HaVon performed the national anthem during the Olympic Trials in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Target Center. This performance showed off his powerful pipes and his reverence for the song. More than that, the performance introduced him to an audience that may not have watched The Voice.

In a post later that day, HaVon shared that 16,000 people watched him open the Olympic Trials with the national anthem. He likely earned some new fans with the awe-inspiring performance.
