When you think of string band music, Har Mar Superstar is not what usually pops into your head. But the new video from the popular Duluth, Minnesota-based acoustic act Trampled By Turtles might change all that — at least for the next 5 minutes and 54 seconds.

The band recruited the indie rocker and hipster hero to star in their video for “Wild Animals,” the title track to their upcoming album, out July 15 via Thirty Tigers. Har Mar plays a bummed out cab driver driving around the darkened streets of New York City, which sets the somber mood of the song perfectly.
Wild Animals was produced by Alan Sparhawk, lead singer of Low (who also hail from Duluth). The band will appear on The Late Show With David Letterman on the album’s release date. Today marks the start of their latest tour. Check out the dates below.
