The kickoff for a new NFL season is just around the corner. With pre-season games already underway, fans are gearing up to cheer on their favorite team. For Jelly Roll, there is no team better than the Titans. And while the country singer is a big fan of the football team, it seems T’Vondre Sweat is a huge fan of his. Jelly Roll Lands A Spot On The Team
It just so happens that Jelly Roll heard the message from Sweat and decided to make the meeting a possibility. But wanting to do more than shake hands and snap a picture, Jelly Roll decided to get Sweat to help him perform “Save Me” in front of the team. With his fellow players supporting him, it took Sweat a few seconds to find his voice.
As for Jelly Roll, even without the stage and band, he easily walked Sweat through “Save Me.” With the team cheering, fans loved the special moment, commenting, “I just want to sit an empty church downtown Nashville and sing with you!” Another fan focused on Sweat. “Despite his mistakes in the past, it’s awesome to see T Sweat step up. Looks like he’s taking the NFL seriously, his development seriously, his attitude seriously, being a good teammate seriously. I hope he becomes a force to be reckoned with in this league and Titans are lucky to have him.”
With fans loving the duet, Jelly Roll added his voice to the comment, revealing, “I’m a backup on the O-Line now. Taylor Lewan is training me.”
