Watch Ella Langley Deliver a Beautiful Rendition of Blake Shelton’s Classic Ballad, “Austin”

Having only spent a few years in country music, Ella Langley hit the ground running as she performed at the Grand Ole Opry and released her debut EP, Excuse the Mess, just last year. And wanting to keep her success going, in 2024, she released her studio album Hungover. Featuring songs like “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green, the song landed her on top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart. But before finding her way to the stage, the singer was nothing more than a fan of country music. And continuing to show her love for singers like Blake Shelton, Langley once covered his hit song “Austin.”

Back in 2001, Shelton entered country music with his self-titled debut album. Featuring songs like “Every Time I Look at You” and “All Over Me”, the singer gained praise for the song “Austin.” Surrounding a woman trying to reconnect with her former boyfriend, the song hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and stayed there for five weeks. Having a connection with the song, Langley decided to cover the classic hit from Shelton.

Ella Langley Grew Up With Music In Her Heart

Although uploaded over four years ago, the cover continues to gain praise from fans. Looking at the comments, they included, “Honestly she has a wonderful great voice i hope she will be successful in the country music industry.” Another person added, “You’re so pretty!! and your voice is so beautiful.”

While only starting her career in country music, Langley always had a song in her heart. Speaking with Billboard, she recalled being surrounded by music when growing up. “My whole family is musically inclined. I was three years old the first time I got up to sing in church. My mom tells a story where my grandpa sits down at the piano and we’re going to do ‘Amazing Grace,’ and my mom’s trying to help me with the microphone and I’m three years old, and I’m like, ‘I got it. I know how to do it,’ and everyone in church is laughing. So this is what I’ve always wanted to do. When I was a teenager, I picked up the guitar.”

Never putting it down, Langley went from performing at bars, restaurants, and weddings, to dominating the airwaves.
