The 83-minute project uses some of the Man in Black’s most pivotal tracks, including “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Ring of Fire,” “Sunday Morning Down Coming Down” and “Hurt,” to paint a portrait of the late icon’s life in conjunction with the changes of Modern America since his debut.
American Rebel not only includes interviews with family members John Carter Cash, Rosanne Cash, and Carlene Carter, but also Cash’s friends and collaborators.
