Santa Barbara band of brothers Tommy & The High Pilots are back with a new video – a live rendition of the Tom Petty-inspired “Devil To Pay” off their new, power-pop friendly album Only Human (pick it up here).

Frontman Tommy Cantillon breaks down the performance. “After recording ‘Devil to Pay’ we wanted to see how we could spice it up a bit for the live version. We always like keeping things fresh for ourselves and for fans. We were able to get our good friend, Casey Hooper to come by Matt Wallace’s studio for these sessions and play some guitar with us.”
“The song is about somebody figuring out how to make right the mistakes they’ve made in their relationship, and begging the question, ‘Do you still love me?’ A fairly simple idea we hope connects with people on a personal level.”
