Songwriter Says: “‘Ways’ is about a specific incident,” says Ruby, who doesn’t want to kiss and tell (when asked for a quote about the song, she initially quoted OutKast instead). “It’s so sweet when other people try to make us happy, but happiness is something you have to get for yourself.”
