Mat Kerekes – known as the vocalist of rock outfit Citizen – has unveiled the video for “The Clubs / The People’s Attention,” the lead single from his anticipated album, Luna & the Wild Blue Everything. The video features dark, storybook style animation and Kerekes’ anguished vocals paired with sweeping instrumentation.

“Throughout the process of writing this record I was feeling scatterbrained; I felt like I had so much to say but didn’t know how to at times,” says Kerekes. “‘The Clubs / The People’s Attention’ touches on a few different personal topics throughout. I think it’s important to leave specifics out so it isn’t pigeonholed to one meaning and the listener can decipher it in their own way. I am excited to share this and I hope people will connect with it in their own way.”
