Songwriter Says: “I wrote this song at a time I thought I was out of life worth living,” explains lead vocalist and guitarist Daniel James. “It turns out that time was just the beginning of the beginning. It was penned as a classic country song of darkness and devotion suffocating behind an ill kept composure. Singing this song, I could empathize more with the main character in a Rhythm and Blues setting. The video was produced by the band, and shot and edited by our drummer, Trevor Wiggins. We made it in my really, really expensive garage.”
