A new signee to Warner Brothers Records, singer-songwriter Angelica Garcia is on the cusp of delivering a stellar debut album, Medicine For Birds, which drops September 30. Ahead of the upcoming release, check out Garcia’s new video for “Little Bird,” an entrancing, lullaby-like track she says is a highlight of the record.

“In a way I consider ‘Little Bird’ the anthem of the album,” says Garcia. “I wrote it about being on my own for the first time. There was no question to me that the song should open the record, especially since it starts with layers of wurlizter, funny vocal stacks, and percussion and it’s my opening statement so I wanted it to be strong. Making the video was also a sort of playful experience. We got to experiment so much with effects and colors. Our friend Dustin Klein compiled beautiful projections to set the environment. I brought several family photos and knick knacks from home to make the space feel a little more like my own room.”
