Video: Neil Young & Crazy Horse, “Oh Suzannah”

Ten seconds into Neil Young & Crazy Horse’s latest video and one thing is clear; this is not your grand pappy’s “Oh Suzannah”… but it’s got a good beat, and you can dance to it.

The song hails from Young’s upcoming Americana album, where he covers such chestnuts as “She’ll Be Comin ‘Round The Mountain,” “This Land Is Your Land” and “Wayfarin’ Stranger.” The video features black and white footage of an old-timey family having some old-timey family fun. Also, banjo is pronounced “B-A-N-J-O.”
