Did anybody see our singing President last night on PBS? At the conclusion of the Performance For The White House concert, honoring the music of the civil rights movement, Obama was left holding the microphone at the beginning of a group singalong of “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” The embarrassed leader of the free world eventually passed the mic (potentially to Morgan Freeman), but not before he demonstrated that he could carry a tune.
