While producing songs like “One Voice”, Billy Gilman followed in the footsteps of other singers as he auditioned for season 11 of The Voice. Finding a spot on Team Adam Levine, the singer became a top performer on the show and made it to the finale, where he finished as the runner-up. Not letting the loss get him down, Gilman continues to pursue a music career. In fact, he went on to be added to the Guinness Book of World Records for being the youngest singer ever to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Album charts. More recently, the singer crossed another milestone in his life when he married his partner Anthony Carbone in an intimate wedding in Rhode Island.

First dating in late 2022, Gilman found love in the arms of Carbone. And wanting to take their relationship to the next stage, they welcomed their families and friends to celebrate their love on August 23rd at a large farmhouse.
Speaking with People about the wedding, Gilman insisted they wanted to keep it simple. “All we said was, ‘We want good people, great food and great music.’ That’s it. What else do you need?” He continued, “I just really wanted to keep it simple, with the closest core of our family and friends who have watched our love story grow every single day.”

Billy Gilman Shares How His Love For Anthony Carbone Started
Taking fans on a trip into the past, Gilman shared how his love for Carbone started. “[Carbone] sat down, and I immediately knew … it hit me over the head like a hammer. We met up again and that’s when I said, ‘I got to follow my heart.’ I said [to Carbone], ‘Would you want to go on a first date?’ ”
Taking a leap of faith, it appeared to work out for Gilman. “[We’ve] been inseparable ever since, leading up to this one getting on his knee. I’m super grateful for our friends, that’s for sure. It’s just, when you know you know.”
Adding his voice to the conversation, Carbone noted, “We got really close, really fast. We’ve had relationships before and dated other people, but we just really couldn’t be a day apart.”
