The Mountain Goats are hitting the road this fall for a string of headlining dates in support of their upcoming album Jenny from Thebes. The folk-rock outfit has expanded their tour schedule, adding twelve additional performances across the U.S. this December.

After a month-long break following their previously announced October tour stops, the band will kick off a new leg of dates with a December 1 performance in Greensboro, North Carolina, before continuing to an array of cities along the East Coast. Peter One and Stephen Steinbrink will serve as support on select dates.
The news coincides with the release of their new track “Fresh Tattoo,” which features Bully frontwoman Alicia Bognanno on guitar and backing vocals from Matt Nathanson. In July, fans were treated to the record’s lead single, “Clean Slate,” which paints a picture of the house the album’s lead character calls home and the cast of mysterious visitors who travel through.
