This year on the list of nominees are country artists Dylan Scott, Tyler Childers and Walker Hayes, all of who garnered their first nominations.

The most nominated male artists include Brandon Lake with 11 nominations, songwriter Jeff Pardo with eight, and Jason Ingram and Kirk Franklin each with six. The most-nominated female artists include Katy Nichole with four. Lauren Daigle, Naomi Raine and Tasha Cobbs Leonard each got three.

The Dove Awards will be held in Nashville on October 17. The show will air exclusively on TBN and the TBN app on October 20 at 8:00 and 10:00 p.m. ET. The first Dove Awards were celebrated in 1969.

“I want to congratulate this year’s wonderful list of Dove Awards nominees,” says GMA President, Jackie Patillo in a release. “Each year, we choose a theme to represent our community and why we celebrate. Today we announced this year’s theme, Joyful Echo. Like it says in Isaiah 42:12 from The Message, ‘Make God’s glory resound, echo His praises from coast to coast.’ We expect and believe this year’s show will be a joyful echo of the love of Jesus.”
