Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour already smashed AMC pre-sale records upon the announcement of the U.S. participating theaters. The movie pulled in $26 million in single-day pre-sale revenue. AMC took note of the response and decided to strike a deal with global movie theater operators to release the film worldwide.

“The tour isn’t the only thing we’re taking worldwide,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “Been so excited to tell you all that The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theaters WORLDWIDE on Oct 13! Tickets available now at www.TSTheErasTourFilm.com or on your local theaters website!”
Swift has caused several other films to be pushed in fear of being outshined by the concert film. Among the pack is The Exorcist: Believer (which will now be released on October 6), “Dumb Money” (wide release on September 29), and “Ordinary Angels” (release date TBD).
“Look what you made me do,” Jason Blum of Blumhouse wrote on Twitter. “The Exorcist: Believer moves to 10/6/23 #TaylorWins.”
“The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon,” Swift explained of her decision to make a film version of the tour.
“Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged. 1, 2, 3 LGB!!!! (iykyk),” she continued.
Swift’s Eras Tour will pick back up in October at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. Swift will play a slew of U.S. dates before officially heading overseas for South American, Asian, European, and UK legs. Find the rest of her tour dates, HERE.
