The first ticket release for Taylor Swift’s 2010 Fearless Tour sold out within minutes. Tickets for 15 of the 37 shows were released October 23, and fans were more than ready, with some shows selling out in just a few minutes, marking the fastest ticket sales in the young singer-songwriter’s career to date.
In less than one hour, the March 12 Taylor Swift concert in Corpus Christi, Texas sold out. The $61 dollar tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. and were completely sold out before 11 a.m. Gloriana will, again be opening for Swift in the 2010 tour, and Kellie Pickler will be featured on all of the North American dates.
If you didn’t get your tickets – don’t panic! Within moments, tickets began appearing for sale all over the Internet. A quick search on Ebay shows there is plenty to go around – if you’re willing to pay. Since the release of her self-titled album in October 2006 (and even before, with her hit single “Tim McGraw”), Swift’s career has exploded with 3x Multi-Platinum sales. Earlier this year, Swift received an orgy of publicity at the MTV Awards, when Kanye West disgracefully interrupted her acceptance speech.
