He may no longer be working on a concept album for each state, but that doesn’t mean he can’t hit the road. On October 12, gifted singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens will embark on a cross-country tour. He’ll hopefully preview songs from his upcoming album, which features instrumental assistance from indie rock heroes The National.

Stevens’ last release was 2009’s CD/DVD/limited-edition comic book BQE.
