Last month, Bruce Springsteen announced he would be postponing a number of tour dates due to his symptoms of peptic ulcer disease. Now, Steven Van Zandt has provided a much-needed health update on The Boss.

The E Street Band member’s statement was short. He replied to a fan who said they were “sending Bruce the best wishes.” “He’s much better thank you Jo,” Van Zandt wrote.

The original plan was for Springsteen and the band to pick things back up in November. However, they recently announced they would be pushing the entire tour back, per doctor’s orders.

“Bruce Springsteen has continued to recover steadily from peptic ulcer disease over the past few weeks and will continue treatment through the rest of the year on doctor’s advice,” a statement read. “With this in mind, and out of an abundance of caution, all remaining 2023 tour dates for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be postponed until 2024.”

“Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement, and support. I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all next year,” Springsteen himself added.

Fans who can not make the rescheduled dates below can request a refund from official ticketing companies, however, the tickets will be honored on the rescheduled dates.

Currently, only the U.S. shows have received new dates. Canadian fans are still waiting to hear when their shows will be rebooked.
