Songwriter Says: “’Moonglow’ is a ballad about parallel lives.  The woman in it is a synesthete: she see colors when she’s listening to music.  I have this image of her on a crowded subway, doing a kind of dance as people come in and leave the train.  She’s wearing headphones and seeing all of these amazing colors no one else can see.  And somehow, in my mind, her visions and accommodating movements are to the benefit of all beings.  Also, I like how the song is only four repeating chords!”
