We’re pleased to premiere a new track from English singer-songwriter Billy Bragg, a cover of Ewan MacColl‘s “Kilroy Was Here.”

The song is taken from Joy of Living: A Tribute to Ewan MacColl, an upcoming tribute album to MacColl, who was a prominent figure in the first British folk revival. All songs were originally penned by MaColl.

Bragg contributes the working class-themed “Kilroy Was Here” to the 21-track project, which also features covers by Steve Earle, Bombay Bicycle Club, Rufus & Martha Wainwright, Jarvis Cocker and more.
