The Smiths Announce Upcoming 7″ Featuring Two Unreleased Demos

You’ll have everything now: Warner Music UK has announced plans to release a 7″ single featuring two previously unreleased versions “Rubber Ring” and “The Boy With The Thorn In His Side”. “Thorn” was a single from the band’s 1986 album The Queen Is Dead, which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary.

The cover art, designed by Morrissey himself, features actor Albert Finney. As no release date for the 7″ has been announced as of yet, Smiths fans eager to hear the rare tracks will just have to “Stretch Out And Wait.”
