Only 100 copies of the album were made available online, exclusively at DekoEntertainment.com, although those are already sold out. An additional 300 copies of the LP, signed by Slash, are being sold in stores at Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City, California.
The album features songs from the soundtracks of the following Halloween Horror Nights haunted houses: “Clowns 3D” (2014), “Universal Monsters” (2018), “Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives” (2021), “Universal Monsters: Legends Collide” (2022), and “Universal Monsters: Unmasked” (2023).
Slash co-produced and co-wrote the tracks with Stacey Quinealty. Quinealty also contributed vocals and various instruments to the recordings.
Each year, Universal Studios Hollywood presents various themed scary experiences during the Halloween season. The attractions usually feature monsters and other characters from Universal Studios’ classic horror movies.
Music of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights was released to coincide with the launch of the 2024 edition of the eerie event. This year’s Halloween Horror Nights celebration kicked off September 5 and will run through November 3. Slash has contributed music to the new “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines” haunted house.
More About the “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines” Attraction
The “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines” haunted house features an all-female cast of creatures, including The Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula’s daughter, She-Wolf of London and the mummified Egyptian princess Anck-Su-Namun. The attraction will take visitors on a terrifying journey as two factions of monsters battle each other for survival.
In a statement, Slash shared that he was excited to contribute more music to the Universal Studios attraction this year.
“As a longtime fan of horror movies and of ‘Halloween Horror Nights,’ I jumped at the chance to once again collaborate with Universal Studios Hollywood to produce a soundtrack for the Universal Monsters haunted house,” he said. “Similar to the way music affects a film, I composed this score for the legions of infamous characters in these haunted houses to elicit a sense of emotional terror.”
