Slash is mourning the loss of his stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, who died on Friday, July 19, at age 25.

According to a post the Guns N’ Roses guitarist shared on his social media pages, Lucy-Bleu “passed away peacefully in Los Angeles.” She was the daughter of Slash’s longtime romantic partner, Meegan Hodges, and Hodges’ ex-husband Mark Knight.
The announcement also identified Lucy-Bleu as the “stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson.” London and Cash are Slash’s sons with his ex-wife Perla Ferrer, to whom he was married from 2001 to 2018. Slash originally dated Hodges in 1989. The couple rekindled their relationship in 2015 and have been together since then.
The post also described Lucy-Bleu as “an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul.”

The message concluded, “The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as a grieve and process this devastating loss.”
Slash Has Canceled His Next Four Concerts
Shortly before sharing the news of his stepdaughter’s death, Slash announced the cancellation of four dates on his current S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival Tour in support of his recent blues-themed album Orgy of the Damned. Citing “unforeseen circumstances,” the canceled shows had been scheduled for July 22 in Cincinnati; July 24 in Interlochen, Michigan; July 25 in Huber Heights, Ohio; and July 27 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
The announcement also informed ticketholders for those concert that “[r]efunds will be available at the points of purchase.
The tour is scheduled to resume on July 28 with an event in Toronto at Budweiser Stage. The note concluded, “We love our fans and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.”
The S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival tour is plotted out through an August 17 performance in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Lucy-Bleu’s Disturbing Posthumous Social Media Post
A few hours after Lucy-Bleu’s death was announced, a message that she apparently wrote was posted on her social media accounts, along with a selfie she apparently took in a mirror.
“Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity-I am sorry,” the note reads. “Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly big ego, insecure heart and fear of being vulnerable. May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job at being Lucy-Bleu. Peace.”
Lucy’s mother posted a heart-wrenching note in the comments section of her daughter’s post that says, “MY BABY GIRL! LOVE YOU WITH EVERYTHING. I’M SO SORRY.”
In addition, Duff McKagan’s wife, Susan, and daughter Grace also posted emotional comments.
“We love you Lucy always have and always will,” Susan Holmes McKagan wrote. “May you rest in peace with angels beautiful soul … See you on the other side angel.”
Grace McKagan’s message reads, “You have nothing to apologize for, I’ll see you again, I love you. I’ve got you.”
