Post Malone brought out a slew of guests during his “One Night In Nashville” showcase on July 16, where he played his hits, a few covers, and gave fans a sneak peek at his new country album, F-1 Trillion. He brought out Blake Shelton, Joe Nichols, HARDY, and Sierra Ferrell to share in the rowdy fun.

Sierra Ferrell took the stage with Posty and brought her unique, bluegrassy sound to the unreleased song “Never Love You Again,” which will most likely appear on the new album. The two put on a frenetic show, keeping the energy high with their unexpectedly perfect chemistry. According to a report from Holler, Ferrell was originally supposed to join Post at the ACM Awards when he first debuted “Never Love You Again.” Her appearance in Nashville lends itself to the belief that she’s officially featured on the album.
The two also performed a duet of Johnny Cash’s “Jackson,” which Cash notably sang with his wife, June Carter Cash. Ferrell was dressed in her usual over-the-top classic country-inspired style, which works so well for her aesthetic and overall attitude. Her outfits are loud and eye-catching, but her vocals stay sweetly in the higher register like a songbird.
Sierra Ferrell paired up with Post Malone may seem odd at first, but their energy and chemistry is palpable. They play well off each other, and their unique vocals mesh beautifully as they harmonize.
