Bright Eyes wrapped up the first leg of their US tour at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Thursday. The crowd sang along to the new songs from The People’s Key like “Shell Games” (“everyone on the count of THREE!”) and reveled in older tracks like Fevers and Mirrors‘ “The Calendar Hung Itself.”

Band frontman Conor Oberst said he couldn’t wait to get back to the Ryman, and thanked the universe for a perfect Tennessee day. Opening act Mynabirds’ Laura Burhenn served as the band’s keyboard player and backing vocalist.
