Here’s a rundown of last nights’ big winners at the Americana Music Honors and Awards, which were held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Charleston, South Carolina roots duo Shovels & Rope won Song Of The Year for “Birmingham,” which topped our own Best Songs Of 2012 list — great minds think alike. Rodney Crowell and Emmylou Harris, the subjects of our May/June cover story, earned Duo/Group of the Year and Album Of The Year for their collaboration on the stellar Old Yellow Moon. Congratulations to all the winners.
