Country artist and Brad Paisley tour mate Brett Eldredge stopped by our office for a session a short while ago. The Paris, Illinois native is the epitome of down-to-earth, and his writing style is, no doubt, a direct overflow from that innate realness. Whether it’s his up- front disclaimer that he only wants to dance and have a good time (“It Ain’t Gotta Be Love”) or his quasi-tear jerker about an Alzheimer patient confusing him for her son (“Raymond”), Brett Eldredge’s songs are perfect examples of honest American songwriting.

Watch Eldredge and his band perform acoustic versions of “Raymond,” “It Ain’t Gotta Be Love,” and “One Mississippi”  below.
