“Y’all have been asking for new music for a while,” Gomez captioned the post. “Since I’m not quite done with SG3, I wanted to put out a fun little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer. SINGLE SOON. August 25th. Presave it now.”

“Single Soon” is produced by Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat. It is not clear if the song will be featured on Gomez‘s hotly-anticipated third studio album. In June, Gomez posted several photos on Instagram featuring the artist at a recording studio donning headphones, indicating that she was hard at work on her new album. “Don’t worry guys, it’s coming. Even from Paris,” read the post’s caption.

In an interview with Vanity Fair earlier this year, Gomez discussed what to expect from her new music. “If I had my way, I would probably write ballads my whole life, but I want to produce music that will make people smile,” Gomez said. “The music I’m doing right now is about real things that I’m walking through. It’s really powerful, strong, very pop. The theme generally is freedom—freedom from relationships, freedom from the darkness.”

In addition to music, Gomez has been very busy with her Rare Beauty makeup brand. Gomez will host the Rare Impact Fund Benefit on October 4 at Nya Studios.

“There is nothing more important to me than getting young people access to the resources that they need to support their mental health, Gomez told People. “This is a personal mission and the reason that I created the Rare Impact Fund,” Gomez said. “I am incredibly proud to host the inaugural Rare Impact Fund Benefit and look forward to an inspiring night of raising funds for these lifesaving services and showcasing the impact we have made so far.”
