Billed as “Nashville’s coolest holiday show” that offers “nine nights of music and merriment,” the series will take place throughout the end of November and through December. Opry Country Christmas kicks off on November 26, with a performance by Alaina on November 29, followed by McCreery on December 3. Adkins performs on December 7, with Lady A taking the Opry stage on December 11. Janson closes out the series on December 18. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

Larry Gatlin will host Opry Country Christmas, which sees country artists performing a variety of holiday hits. The Gatlin Brothers, Riders In The Sky, Mandy Barnett and Charlie McCoy will also perform at all the shows. “Other Opry members, special guests, and spotlight artists will round out the shows made up of artists’ original songs and timeless Christmas favorites,” according to a press release.

The series launched in 2021, with Josh Turner, Chris Young, McCreery, Alaina and Adkins among the past performers.

McCreery became a father for the first time when he and his wife Gabi welcomed a son, Merrick Avery McCreery, in October 2022. “A lot to look forward to going into 2023, bringing a baby on the road and getting him used to the lifestyle,” McCreery shared in 2022 ahead of his 2023 tour. “Like it or not, [I’m] going to be a road daddy for a while, so hopefully he loves it.”

Meanwhile, Alaina recently released her new EP, Unlocked. “Having this really positive energy around me has allowed me to make the best music I’ve ever made,” she told American Songwriter about the project.
