On Tuesday (March 28), Killer Mike and El-P of RTJ announced their 16-date tour coming this fall in September and October. However, the shows will only take place in four cities, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, as they plan to do performances for four straight nights in each town.

For each of the four shows, RTJ plans to perform each of their four albums front to back. So for night one they would perform all of Run the Jewels (2013), night two would be for Run the Jewels 2 (2014), night three for Run the Jewels 3 (2016), and night four for RTJ4 (2020).

In a press release for the announcement, the duo spoke about how hard it is to wrap their head around the fact that they’ve been together for a decade.

“It’s mind-blowing to us that it’s been 10 years since we joined forces as RTJ,” they wrote. “The best way we can think to celebrate is to get the whole family together and do what we love for the people who love us back. It’s going to be amazing, just like this entire ride has been, and we are grateful to get a chance to celebrate with our Jewel Runners this year and finally get back into clubs to destroy some stages for you.”

Additionally, the duo hopped on a video call to celebrate the occasion, as they posted a clip of it to their Instagram simultaneously with Tuesday’s announcement.

“It is our 10th year in biz’, that means we have had a ten-year relationship with one another, we’ve had a ten-year relationship with our DJ, DJ Trackstar, but bigger than that, we’ve had a ten-year relationship with amazing audiences,” Killer Mike said in the clip. “We have a community to celebrate.”

“Every night is gonna be a different setlist, every night is gonna be a different full album, plus a bunch of other jams,” El-P confirmed.

Tickets for the tour will be made available for purchase on Friday (March 31) at 10 am local time, as well as a fan pre-sale opening on Wednesday. Sign up for the pre-sale and tickets for Friday’s public sale can be found on their website.
