November was a big month for Brooks & Dunn. They took home Vocal Duo of the Year and left a lasting impression with their performance of “Believe” featuring Jelly Roll. The dynamic duo also launched Reboot II featuring collaborations with a variety of artists reimagining some of their classic songs. In short, they’re building some serious momentum. Unfortunately, Ronnie Dunn will be on the sidelines for the next couple of months after suffering a leg injury.

Dunn took to social media last night (December 3) to share the news with his fans and followers. He posted a photo showing his left wrapped in an ace bandage from the knee up. In the photo, he looks to be in the backseat of a vehicle with his legs in the seat. “Changing these lyrics from ‘I don’t dance with anybody but you’ to ‘I probably shouldn’t dance anymore at 72,’” he wrote in the caption, referencing “I Don’t Dance” from his 2011 self-titled album.

Dunn is taking his leg injury in stride, though. Instead of complaining about being sidelined, he called his healing process an “Eight-week vacation” in the post. Eight weeks gives the singer/songwriter plenty of time to be on top of his game before Brooks & Dunn hits the road for the Neon Moon Tour in May.
