Staying in tune for the Robot Guitar is performed by the Master Control Knob (MCK). Pull out the MCK, strum and the MCK will flash blue LED lights when your ready to rock, then just push the MCK back in. You can tune in “open E,” “DADGAD,” “double drop D” and more. The Robot Guitar makes changing your strings a breeze too.
Inventor, Chris Adams, has been working for more than 10 years on the project. He’s partnered with Gibson to create this Les Paul Robot. Artists like Billy Corgan and Steve Vai give their nod of approval for the new guitar, Pete Townshend “wants to get to know more about it.”
Well, Pete, and whoever wants to shell over the cash (MSRP is $2,499.00), can pick one up December, 7 at 5 p.m. when select dealers around the world let the Robot Guitar loose. Each select dealer will only have 10 Robot Guitars on hand.
