Regina Spektor’s “Far” Is Getting Closer

We have heard the new Regina Spektor album, and it is unsurprisingly awesome. It’s not too radical a departure from her previous records, but you can definitely hear the growth.

More details for Far, her 5th studio LP, have emerged. The album comes out on June 3rd, via Sire, and features production guidance from David Kahne, Mike Elizondo and ELO mastermind Jeff Lynne.

The lead single, the moody “Laughing With,” can now be heard on Spektor’s MySpace page. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Spektor will launch a world tour to support the album. Dates are TBD.
