Everyone hates Radiohead. In the past few weeks, Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, and the Cure’s Robert Smith have all had disparaging words for the British band who let everyone charge what they wanted for their latest album. Smith complained about the effects such an experiment would have on the industry, while both West and Cyrus were quoted as being upset that the band snubbed them backstage at the Grammys. “I left, ’cause I was so upset,” Cyrus complained in a radio interview. “I wasn’t going to watch [them perform]. Stinkin’ Radiohead! I’m gonna ruin them. I’m going to tell everyone.”

What’s a paranoid android to do? Give a statement to US magazine? Well, yes, actually. “When Miley grows up, she’ll learn not to have such a sense of entitlement,” a representative for Radiohead told the gossip magazine.

Radiohead singer Thom Yorke was a bit more magnanimous in his blog on Dead Air Space. “Wish us all a safe journey,” he wrote. “If you still like us and you’re not one of those people I have managed to offend by doing nothing, xx.”

XX, sure. But notice what’s missing?

Hugs!
