Phoenix Share Their Songwriting Secrets In New Documentary

French phenoms Phoenix have yet to exhaust their 2009 breakout album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. Last week, they made the multitracks available for fan-made remixes. Now, they’re giving an intimate look at the recording of the album with a series of online mini-documentaries. Shot in the studio, the clips provide new insight on the band’s writing and recording process on the album that elevated them to international hit status (hint: no comfy chairs).

Each track gets two videos, with Phoenix and producer Philippe Zdar providing separate commentary. The webisodes will be posted over the next two weeks.
