Peter Gabriel Preps SO 25th Anniversary Reissue, Tour

25 years ago, Peter Gabriel unleashed one of the defining albums of the ’80s, the quintuple-platinum-selling SO. The album contains hits like “Sledge Hammer,” which holds the record for the most played video on MTV,  the poignant Kate Bush vehicle “Don’t Give Up,” and “In Your Eyes,” familiar to many for it’s iconic placement in the movie  Say Anything.

On October 25, Real World Records/EMI will release a special 25^th Anniversary Edition  in multiple physical and digital formats; including a single disc, and an expanded 3 CD and digital Special Edition,  bundled with a previously unreleased 1987 Athens concert from the So tour.

There will also be a 4CD/2DVD/LP/12” Deluxe, Limited Edition box set, which includes a 180-gram vinyl and a “So DNA” CD, chronicling the evolution of So’s songs.

To celebrate, Gabriel will launch the ‘Back To Front’ Tour in North America, starting in Quebec City on September 16^th. Tickets are currently on sale. View full album and tour details below.
