Days after Paul Simon and Edie Brickell were arrested at their Connecticut home for disorderly conduct, the lovebirds have apparently reconciled their differences. The proof? A newly-released duet called “Like To Get To Know You,” in which Simon and Brickell sing about loving each other after years of partnership, despite the familiarity that comes along with a 22-year marriage.

Brickell handles most of the lead vocals, with Paul chiming in with some bright harmonies and a few key lines of his own. Posted on Brickell’s Soundcloud page and personal website, it’s already attracted more than 30,000 views. Kudos to the (once again) happy couple for building a bridge over troubled water!
Now, if only Garfunkel and Simon could patch things up . . .
