Old Dominion, the Nashville-formed group, paired with Moroney, one of country music’s fastest rising stars, like red wine and aged brie as the country artists performed their acclaimed duet, “Can’t Break Up Now.” The collaboration has garnered nearly 700,000 views on YouTube, alone, since its release about a month ago.

Live, the collection of artists sizzled. Moroney, dressed in all white and showing some skin, stood tall with the group’s bearded lead vocalist Matthew Ramsey, harmonizing like soulmates.

So we
Can’t break up now
No, we
Can’t break up now

We’ve come too far and we’re in too deep
We love too hard just to let it go
So we
Can’t break up now, oh

Earlier in the night, Old Dominion won the CMA for Vocal Group of the Year for the sixth time in a row. “This night has just been an amazing reminder of the lent pool hat we have somehow waded into,” said Ramsey after winning. “It’s a beautiful night. Thank you!”

Moroney, known for her hit love song, “Tennessee Orange,” glimmered under the CMA spotlight as she sang with the acclaimed band.

Moroney was nominated for Song of the Year for her single “Tennessee Orange,” which she co-wrote with David Fanning, Paul Jenkins, and Ben Williams. She also was nominated for New Artist of the Year, which Jelly Roll ultimately won.

As for Old Dominion, the band was also nominated this year for Music Video of the Year (for the band’s song, “Memory Lane”). Ahead of the duet performance with Moroney, Old Dominion shared on Twitter, “Excited to perform “Can’t Break Up Now” with @_megmoroney tonight on the #CMAawards. Tune in! @CountryMusic #CBUN

The CMA show is currently being broadcast live on ABC, hosted by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning.
