Makes sense – guitarist Tim DiJulio (Mike McCready’s Flight to Mars), bassist Rebecca Young (Ian Moore) and drummer Rick Cranford (Radio Nationals) come from some of Seattle’s most combustible. “I’ve been chewing on brimstone/I’ve been drinking straight lye,” songwriter Tony Fulgham sings on “Gasoline.” “I’ve been watching the fire grow, baby, wondering how the flames got that high.” Few bands can pull off such an explosion of charcoal and courage.
