Just the other day, Noah Kahan teased fans with the possibility of new music from his Stick Season era. Stick Season was released in 2022, with the collaborative deluxe version, Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever), released in February 2024. Now, he’s announced a new edition of the album, Live From Fenway Park.

In a press release, Kahan shared the news of the live album, which was recorded at one of his sold-out shows at Fenway Park. “Every day I think about playing Fenway,” he wrote. “I can’t even look at photos without crying. It is a permanent part of my soul, and I’m so proud to announce it will be a permanent part of my discography. New England, I love you.”
Live From Fenway Park will be the third and final part of the Stick Season era, following the album and deluxe edition. The live album will also feature a previously unreleased track, “Pain Is Cold Water.” He’s played it live during his We’ll All Be Here Forever Tour this year, and in that way it has become a fan favorite. However, it has never been released until now.
Noah Kahan Announces New Live Version of Stick Season Recorded at Fenway Park
Previously, Noah Kahan took to TikTok to tease something new from the Stick Season era. “There’s no way I would release something else Stick Season related…is there?” he said with a cheeky laugh. Fans were paying attention to his social media, noting that he reposted a video of the unreleased song “I Belong to You.” They speculated that he might be dropping some unreleased content, but there was no telling what or when at the time.
Now, fans have an answer. This live album comes just as Noah Kahan is closing out his sold-out U.K. and European tour, before he heads back to the States for a couple of festival dates. He’ll be playing New Jersey’s Sea.Hear.Now Festival and Nashville’s Pilgrimage Festival. Additionally, Kahan has scheduled a benefit concert in his home state of Vermont.
On September 19, the benefit concert will be hosted by his mental health initiative, The Busyhead Project. Proceeds from the show will go toward local Vermont organizations to benefit the community. He’s also set up a fund with Backline to provide his band and crew with mental health benefits throughout the tour.
