New York Songwriters Circle Gives American Teen Artists Their Big Chance

New York — March 11, 2010 — The most promising teenage artists (ages 15 to 18) from around the country will be in New York on Monday, March 15th to perform at the New York Songwriters Circle’s first ever “Young Artist Showcase.” The New York Songwriters Circle is giving these talented teenagers the opportunity to perform on the same brick walled stage of The Bitter End Club that helped launch the careers of Norah Jones and Gavin DeGraw. The “Young Artist Showcase” will begin at 8 p.m., tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.

Headlining the “Young Artist Showcase” on the 15th will be 2009 New York Songwriters Circle Young “Young Artist” award winner and one of the hottest teen artists on the Internet Ali Brustofski (www.myspace.com/allisonbrustofski). Joining Ali on stage will also be teen artists Casey Cattie (www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW52NfRd4fM), Aubrey Caswell (www.myspace.com/aubreycaswell), Megan Trainor (www.myspace.com.megtrainor07), Nick Tetrault (www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkOjgZw4_O0) and Clay Garner (www.myspace.com/claygarner).
