Music can make your day. One song playing at the right moment, perhaps with the right cup of coffee in your favorite mug, and the sun coming through the window, can really make life worth living. We here at American Songwriter think that songs are the oxygen for your spiritual lungs.

To that end, we wanted to share 15 new works of music to brighten your day and share the good word of composition. So, with that in mind, here are 15 songs for you today.
1. Dan Auerbach
The Black Keys co-founder and frontman Dan Auerbach released his latest single this week, the psychedelic rock, “Every Chance I Get.” The new song is part of Easy Eye Records’ forthcoming blues anthology, Tell Everybody!, which is out August 11. Check it out below.

NBA star Damian Lillard is a rapper of top talent, too. And the hooper-turned-lyricist has released his latest single, “The Way It Goes,” and accompanying Paris, France-shot music video. Check out the new work from the M.C. below.
5. Courtney Barnett
The acclaimed indie rocker announced the forthcoming release of a new instrumental album this week, End of the Day. 6. Mickey Guyton featuring Kane Brown

7. Jamila Woods

This week country star Lainey Wilson released her latest music video for the track, “Watermelon Moonshine.” The song, from Bell Bottom Country, boasts a cinematic music video that will make you want to be part of the dream. Check it out below.

The rising Panamanian pop star and songwriter released her latest song this week, “Easy.” On the song, the burgeoning artist showcases why she is on the minds of decision-makers these days. She’s thoughtful, mysterious and catchy all at once. The best of all worlds.
12. Andrew Bird
This week, star songwriter, singer, whistler and violin player Andrew Bird announced his next album, Outside Problems, which is set to drop on July 21. Bird also shared his newest song, “Mo Teef,” which highlights the need for wildlife preservation. Check it out below.
