A three-alarm fire reportedly destroyed a 10,000 foot warehouse in San Francisco today, where Neil Young had stored memorabilia such as guitars, vintage cars, and paintings.  According to Belmont-San Carlos Fire Chief Doug Fry, 70% of Young’s possessions were rescued. The damaged property was said to be valued at $1 million.

At press time, it was unclear what caused the fire. But don’t blame Billy Joel. He didn’t start it.

Update: Authorities say the blaze began with Young’s electric-hybrid car.
