On December 10, Neil Young will release Live At The Cellar Door, the latest album in his ongoing Archive Series, via Reprise Record. The album collects highlights from Young’s six-night stand at The Cellar Door club in Washington D.C. between November 30th and December 2nd 1970, which followed the August release of his most celebrated solo album, After The Gold Rush. Like Live At Massey Hall ’71, the new disc features Young performing solo, performing on both acoustic guitar and piano.

Highlights include a bootleg-worthy piano version of “Cinnamon Girl,” and intimate renditions of Buffalo Springfield songs like “Expecting To Fly” and “I Am A Child.” The album also contains songs like the then unreleased “Old Man” and the rarity “Bad Fog Of Loneliness,” previously heard on Live At Massey Hall ’71 and Archives Vol. 1.

Fans will have three options for buying their copy of Live At The Cellar Door — digitally, on CD, and on 180-gram vinyl.
