Country’s cool again, and the beloved genre is expanding its borders. Fans have watched this year as rapper Post Malone solidified his Nashville bona fides in preparation for his country debut, F-1 Trillion. Only in its second week, the album has helped Post Malone accomplish a feat that no other artist has managed since mid-April—dethrone Taylor Swift from atop the Billboard 200. But the “I Had Some Help” singer didn’t do it alone, collaborating with everyone from Morgan Wallen to Dolly Parton. Recently, he shared a heartwarming behind-the-scenes video of his first meeting with the “Queen of Country.”

Dolly Parton Had Post Malone’s Heart “Beating So Fast”
Post Malone invited Nashville’s A list to participate in his country music homecoming. Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton and more stopped by the studio to put their stamp on F-1 Trillion. Even Dolly Parton joined the “White Iverson” rapper for the steamy strack “Have the Heart.”

With a roster that stacked, you’d think Posty would grow immune to feeling star-struck. However, a video of his first meeting with the “Queen of Country” proves that is certainly not the case.
On Monday (Aug. 26), the “Sunflower” singer shared a behind-the-scenes clip from a photo shoot with Dolly to social media. Malone looks as though he can hardly believe his luck as he embraces the “Jolene” singer.
“You are amazing,” he gushes. “I can’t even believe it. My heart’s beating so fast.”
Definitely relatable. “Dolly knew how to make him blush,” remarked one Instagram user. “What a legend.”
Dolly Parton Says She’s “Cool” Because of Posty
The 11-time GRAMMY winner, 78, sang Post Malone’s praises right back to him on her own Instagram page. “@postmalone’s always said nice things about me and I’ve always appreciated it,” Dolly wrote in an Aug. 16 post. “He’s got such a big heart.”
In a video Dolly posted to social media, she tells the “Pour Me A Drink” singer that “I can say I’m cool because of you.”
Post Malone immediately refutes that point. “No, that’s not true,” insisted the 10-time Billboard Music Award winner. “I’m cool because of you.“
