Jay Z’s TIDAL Prepares for Official Launch
The streaming service purchased by Jay Z for $56 million earlier this month has announced that it is running in 31 countries. TIDAL will officially launch on March 30, and it already contains many popular works including most of Taylor Swift’s catalog and the new Kendrick Lamar release – likely due to its $19.99 a month price point.

Beats Trumps Spotify In Payouts
An artist has reported his payout amounts received from Beats, Apple’s recently bought streaming service. According to the report, Beats pays out an average of 1.801 cents per stream, which is much higher than Spotify’s 0.428 cents per stream.
