Presented by Brooklyn Made Presents, the performances will celebrate “40 years of Morrissey” with a setlist that runs the gamut of the former The Smiths frontman’s career. The four-night stand has been described as “an all-new show, featuring the songs that made you smile, the songs that made you cry, and the songs that saved your life.”

“Brooklyn Made Presents is thrilled to be hosting this historic run of shows,” said Anthony Makes, President and CEO of Brooklyn Made Presents, in a release. “Morrissey’s music has resonated with fans for 40 years, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring one of the most iconic and influential artists of all time to such a magnificent theater in Manhattan.”

Morrissey began his solo career in 1988 after The Smiths’ breakup. He launched the second stage of his career with the album, Viva Hate. He followed up that project’s success with other lauded albums including Vauxhall and I and You Are the Quarry.

Fans can expect highlights from Morrissey’s solo career as well as his time with The Smiths during the four-night stand.

“Each night will showcase Morrissey’s timeless repertoire, spanning his illustrious career as a singer, songwriter, and author,” a press release stated. “From his early days with The Smiths to his prolific solo career, Morrissey’s music continues to resonate with fans, transcending generations.”

Tickets for the run will go on sale on Friday (June 23) at 10 am ET. Find all ticket information on the United Palace’s website.
